Zombie Survival Game The Last Stand: Aftermath To Release On 16 November

 

A much-beloved zombie survival franchise from the age of flash games will soon have a new addition that will release on the PC and gaming consoles.

People familiar with flash games would probably remember Con Artist Games’ The Last Stand (TLS) franchise well. For those who don’t know, The Last Stand franchise is made up of zombie survival flash games wherein you either have to survive waves of the undead until rescue or evacuation comes or make your way through a once populous city to find a means of escape.

Con Artist Games continues the franchise with The Last Stand: Aftermath, a zombie survival action-adventure game that introduces rogue-lite gameplay elements while offering a fresh take on the series and retaining the atmosphere that fans love from the original trilogy.

 

The game was crowd-funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign in September 2020.

The game tasks players to hunt for the truth behind the worsening of the zombie outbreak. To do so, players will have to travel to different locations and scavenge materials to create weapons and supplies while going up against undead hordes.

 

However, players will have to eventually play as a new character because all survivors are already bitten and infected with the virus responsible for turning people into zombies at the start of the game.

 

The new survivor will come equipped with the perks and upgrades from the previous survivor based on the player’s last playthrough. However, it is still unknown if players could kill the zombified version of their last character to regain their previous inventory, like in Ubisoft’s ZombiU or not.

 

 

The Last Stand: Aftermath is scheduled to be released on 16 November 2021 on Steam for the PC, PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and the Microsoft Store for the Xbox Series S/X for $24.99 /£19.49.
