The global launch of the Redmi Note 11 series is almost three months after it was first introduced in China in October 2021. After the global launch, there is no further information on when Xiaomi Indonesia will release the Redmi Note 11 Series in Indonesia.

If you look at the history of the previous generation, namely the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi immediately brought it to the country less than a month since it was launched globally.

Specifications of Redmi Note 11 series

In this announcement, Xiaomi did not provide further details about which model and specifications of the Redmi Note 11 Series will be launched to the global market. It is also not known whether the specifications for the global and Chinese versions are the same or not.

However, when referring to the Chinese market, Xiaomi itself has marketed three models of the Redmi Note 11 Series, namely the “regular” Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus.

Of the three, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is positioned as the top model. The reason is, this model phone is equipped with the highest fast charging support, which is 120 watts.

The rest, the specifications of the “Pro Plus” version of the Redmi Note 11 are similar to the “Pro” version. For example, it has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 360 Hz.

Then on the backside, there are three embedded cameras, one of which is the main camera with a resolution of 108 MP. For hardware, both models are also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 (6nm) chipset.

Meanwhile, the regular version of the Redmi Note 11 is equipped with a slightly smaller screen size, which is 6.6 inches with Full HD Plus resolution and supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

This phone is equipped with a 50 MP main camera, a 5,000 mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 (6nm) chipset.

In China, the Redmi Note 11 series is sold at the following prices:

Redmi Note 11 Pro: starting from 1,699 Yuan or around IDR 3.7 million.

In early January 2022, news broke that Xiaomi was also preparing the “Redmi Note 11S” phone which was included in the Redmi Note 11 series family.

The presence of this new model was noticed when the name of the phone appeared on the website of the US electronic and communication device certification body, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

On the FCC website, there are two model numbers proposed by Xiaomi, respectively 2201117TY and 2201117SY. It is not yet known whether the Redmi Note 11S is also one of the Redmi Note 11 series models launched by Xiaomi next week, or not. Let’s just wait.
