The internet has made the Xbox mini-fridge real.
When it first appeared, fans teased the Xbox Series X because of its “fridge-like” design. After seeing the many memes and jokes about it, Xbox decided to make the meme real and announced a 6-foot, 400-pound fridge that will look exactly like the Series X. Still riding the high of the meme, Xbox went to Twitter and started a poll.
At the end of the poll, fans voted for a mini-fridge of the Series X, and Xbox has declared to make it a reality. The Xbox E3 showcase presented the mini-fridge and has even revealed a pre-order date, October 19.
Created in partnership with Ukonic!, the 1:1 scale mini fridge will hold up to 12 cans of beverages with two shelves in the door. It will also include a USB port to charge devices and a DC power adapter to work on the go.
Coming globally in December 2021, Target will exclusively sell the first wave for $99.99. European fans can purchase it from GAME for 89.99 pounds, Game Stop EU for 99 euro, Tonyk and Micromania for 99 euro.
Xbox is working hard to bring the mini-fridge to fans and expand regional availability in 2022 with pending regulatory approvals and restrictions by the market. Amazon, however, will not be a seller of this product. For more information, visit Target.com for pre-order details and product availability.
