Why did the film ‘Hotel Transylvania 4’ postpone its releasing date?

The release date of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania has been pushed back from summer to fall. Dracula and the monsters become human as well, the fourth and last film in the Hotel Transylvania franchise. Johnny becomes a human character. It is the first picture not directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and shows Brian Hull as Dracula over Adam Sandler. A lot of traditional breaks will occur.

Variety reports that Sony Pictures has pushed the release date of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania to October 1, 2021. The film was initially scheduled to be released on July 23, 2021, on the same day as Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. It will be the first picture in the franchise to be released in October, following the release of the first two chapters in September.

By pushing the release date to October, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania avoids conflicting with M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming horror Old and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. The film will now be released on the same day as The Addams Family 2 and the highly anticipated sci-fi film Dune, posing even more competition for Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.

Genndy Tartakovsky, who directed the first three films, wrote the script, while Derek Drymon and Jennifer Kluska directed it. Andy Samberg, Kathryn Hahn, Selena Gomez, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key, Brian Hull, and David Spade will set to appear in Hotel Translyvania: Transformania. In Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, Adam Sandler will not reprise his role as Dracula. Brian Hull will take over his job. Along with Tartakovsky, Alice Dewey Goldstone, and Michelle Murdocca, Gomez acts as an executive producer.

The movie revolves around Van Helsing’s mysterious invention. His invention name is “Monsterfication Ray” which gets destroyed. Due to his invention, Dracula and his monster friends get to change into humans and Johnny transformed into a monster. Johnny starts loving his life as a monster but Dracula’s power is snatched away. After some time, Dracula and his friends try to find a cure to become normal along with Johnny. Further, the movie is all about how they find a way to change themselves like before.
