Bully 2 was supposed to be announced at the Game Awards, but it didn’t show up.
This news comes from a reporter on Twitter. They talk about how Bully 2 was supposed to be a surprise, but it never showed. He even saws there’s a playable version, but they’ll reveal it when it’s ready.
“Bully 2 was expected as a potential surprise reveals at the Game Awards last week after some people have been shown some material alluding to a reveal soon,” Tom Henderson tweeted. “Information is a bit blurry at the moment, and I have to be quite vague here, but if I hear more I will report on it.”
Bully came out in 2006 on the PlayStation. Players take control of James Hopkins as he takes on a new school. Like Grand Theft Auto, it’s a free-roam game where you can, pretty much, bully people. It’s not a perfect game, but most people liked the game.
However, some Twitter comments thought a sequel was unnecessary. They believe the first ending was fine, or they just think the first game wasn’t that good. Even if it’s one of Rockstar’s most controversial games, most fans still want the game.
There has always been a debate on whether bad properties should get sequels or not. There are many games,a movies, and shows that got sequels that were deemed bad. However, they still got them and brought in money from both lovers and haters. When it comes to any sequel, though, the creators have a chance to make it better than the first.
