Face masks are an essential part of our beauty routines. But the fact that there is a face mask for every skin type’s needs and concerns might be overwhelming for us. There are lots of types available on the market for hydration, skin tightening, brightening, anti-aging, glow, or skin revitalization. So, how can you know which face mask is best for you?

So, whether your skin type is oily, dry, normal, combination, acne-prone, or sensitive, there is always a face mask out there for you.  Here’s a lowdown on what may suit your skin the best.

For Normal Skin

You’re lucky if you have normal skin because basically, you are suitable for using any type of face mask, from clay masks, sheet masks, to cream masks. Generally, for the normal skin types, it’s a good strategy to choose plenty of hydration and a boost of antioxidants. Cream masks are probably the most recommended for normal skin. Cream masks contain emollients that smooth the skin. This type of mask is ideal for those of you who want to rejuvenate the appearance of your facial skin because cream masks have a lot of extra moisture.

For Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, you know how difficult it is to find products that absorb extra oil without removing the skin’s natural oil. Oily skin will usually get optimal benefits from a clay mask or charcoal mask. Clay masks contain natural clay ingredients that are capable of deep cleansing by pulling out any pore-clogging dirt and oil as the mask dries and tightens, without actually drying your face.
