What to Expect in the New Genshin Impact 2.5 Update

Genshin Impact just released a big update on Wednesday, 16 February and Travelers can expect new characters, weapons, items, and events from the “When the Sakura Bloom” 2.5 update.

As every update has a maintenance period. Travelers are compensated with 300 primogems along with an additional code. That can be redeem to receive 60 primogems and 5 Adventurer’s Experience.

New Materials

In the new update, Travelers can obtain new materials such as Sakura Bloom. Which is described as “Blossoms from the Sacred Sakura at the Grand Narukami Shrine, filled with a fondness for Inazuma.” To farm the Sakura Bloom, Travelers must use a Electro user character to hit the Sakura Bloom. These items can also be used to ascend characters such as Ayato as well.

New Items & Recipes

New festive recipes & items were introduced in this latest update that uses Sakura Bloom; amongst those are :

• Shrimp Crackers

• Sakura Tempura

• Sakura Mochi

• Tricolor Dango

• Electroculus Resonance Stone

New Characters

Yae Miko—a new five-star Electro; Catalyst character introduced in this update will have her Character Event Banner; ‘Everbloom Violet’. Along with Yae Miko; and get yourself a chance to get other characters too! such as:

• Fischl – 4-star Electro

• Dionna – 4-star Cryo

• Thoma – 4 star Pyro

Travelers can farm Sakura Blooms on Narukami Island – heading west of Kamisato Manor.
