Harry Styles’ third album arrived and surprised fans, critics, and the world with a new sound and impeccable lyricism. Welcome everyone to Harry’s house. The biggest release of 2022 so far is from Harry Styles.

 

The album was released last Friday, May 20th Harry’s House aims for a #1 debut on the US albums chart with 450-500K units first week. It will be 2022’s biggest sales week. Harry’s House’ earned the most first-day streams for a Pop album released in 2022 on Apple Music, within just 2 hours of release.

 

 

The album’s first single, “As It Was”  remains at #1 on the global Spotify chart with 12,062 million streams. It has now spent 48 days at #1.

13 songs, 41 minutes, and 59 seconds of a masterpiece. With songs like “Late Night Talking” that let you dance in the kitchen, “Keep Driving” and “Daydreaming” that make you imagine the sunset through your car window on the road, and “Matilda” and “Boyfriends” that make you cry your heart out on the bedroom floor. Harry’s House is an honest reflection of human growth, about loving, being loved, suffering, the difficulties of coming of age, happiness, and sadness. The album lives up to Styles’ personal and musical growth.

 

In an interview with Zane Lowe, Harry spoke about the experience of writing this album during the worst phase of the covid 19 pandemic.

 

“It was also made so much more intimately […] everything was played for a very small amount of people in a room, so to me it’s everything that I’ve wanted to make in a lot of ways.”

 

 

Unconventional melodies, coming out of the box by pop music standards, proving once again that he doesn’t limit himself as a musician and songwriter. Syles have in Harry’s House proof that making the music you want to make can work remarkably well.

For lucky fans, Harry performed his entire new album at a One Night Only show at the UBS arena in New York on May 20th, in a sensational show, where his band once again proved to be exceptional and will do the same on O2 Academy Brixton in London on May 24th. An experience for a lifetime.
