WATCH: Woozi’s Amazing solo ‘RUBY’

SEVENTEEN’s WOOZI has released the music video for his first-ever solo single, ‘Ruby’.

‘Ruby’ was written, composed and arranged by the SEVENTEEN member, alongside Bumzu and Park Ki-tae, who frequently collaborate with SEVENTEEN. The song itself is a funk-inspired English pop rock track as Woozi rocks it out, surrounded by many models.

Woozi describes the song: “It’s a powerful song with a wide variety of charms. It’s a song that has the magnetic pull of the moment when you lay your eyes on a beautiful jewel and are instantly captivated.”The lyrics are very intense as well. The most famous one is the following: “Think I’m out of my mind / Pass me a coke zero to calm down / Shit, this is red too.”

It is all the hype that has been going on everywhere in the SEVENTEEN fandom since the release of ‘Ruby’.

As expected from the genius producer, this song was absolutely amazing. The music video that accompanies is is stunning as well. Woozi has proven that he is, once again, a very talented musician.

Topping every chart possible

To match with the hype, ‘Ruby’ topped the iTunes Song Chart in over 18 countries and entered Top 10 in over 35 countries! It has also charted in the Top 100 of 50 countries! A milestone that SEVENTEEN as a group is yet to achieve.

With ‘Ruby’ being registered on KOMCA today, #WOOZI (ID# 10009926) now has 121 songs copyrighted under his name, with 116 credits for writing lyrics (A), 112 for composition (C), and 9 for arrangement (AR). He is still the youngest idol to have this many credits.
