BTS reunited with James Corden on his talk show The Late Late Show after their last meeting in January 2020.
The Late Late Show is an American talk show aired late at night. James Corden is the current host of the show. The Late Late Show has an infamous segment called Carpool Karaoke, where musician guests sing along to songs with James while driving.
BTS first appeared in James Corden’s The Late Late Show in 2017 to promote their new single, at the time, DNA. Back then, BTS played a game called “Flinch” with James and performed DNA.
After almost two years, BTS returned to James Corden’s show in person. BTS had an interview with James, where RM mentioned the incident where James called ARMY “15-year-old girls”. The group also performed their single Permission to Dance.
While BTS was in LA last November, it seemed The Late Late Show didn’t hold back. They filmed BTS’ performance of Butter for the show’s 1000th special episode. They also filmed a segment called Crosswalk Concert with BTS.
The Crosswalk Concert is a segment where the guests perform on the intersection’s crosswalk. And The Late Late Show aired the BTS Crosswalk Concert today.
In BTS Crosswalk Concert, the group performed three songs; Butter, Permission to Dance, and Dynamite. Some members slipped on the slippery crosswalk as all the members quickly ran to the roadside when the traffic light turned green.
There was also a comedic skit of BTS and James Corden in a mixed language of Korean and English. You can watch the fully BTS Crosswalk Concert segment here.
