Vivo teased smartphone users on new iQOO 8 Pro

Vivo Electronics Corp. teased the iQOO 8 Pro series coming on August 17, 2021 by releasing a poster. Vivo first teased the upcoming iQOO 8 smartphone is likely to feature a flat display while, the iQOO 8 Pro will have a curved screen.  The Vivo iQOO 8 Pro runs Android 11, has three cameras, and launched in Blue, White, and Legend (Black).

The main unit has 50MP resolution, while the ultrawide lens sits over the 48MP sensor, which used to be the main camera of the iQOO Pro from 2019 – a 1/2.0-inch sensor. Vivo iQOO 8 Pro Price Start in approximately $800- $1000, Vivo iQOO 8 Pro comes with Android 11 OS, 6.62 inches AMOLED Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ Chipset, Triple Rear and 16MP Selfie Camera.

A new interesting detail has now emerged about the photographic prowess of the iQOO 8 Pro. The iQOO 8 will come with a triple camera setup but details of the third camera weren’t teased. The poster shows the iQOO 8 Pro will pack a 50-megapixel main shooter paired with a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera sensor which happened to be the main sensor on the iQOO Pro launched in 2019. The main camera is expected to have Vivo’s VIS five-axis stabilization, covering all the possible movements. The third camera could be a mid-zoom option, reaching up to 60mm, or about 2.5x accord.

Vivo also shared a couple of samples shot using the iQOO 8 Pro under controlled light and have been reduced in size and formatted for Web purpose in their poster. 

With its the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, the more powerful version of the Snapdragon 888 that boasts higher CPU and GPU clock speeds. The device will also utilize Samsung’s E5 OLED with an LTPO controller capable of 1-120Hz variable frame rate adjustment. The phone will also have support for 120W fast wired charging. Smartphone users was excited on the listing of the features of the new phone of Vivo.
