Upcoming Anime Film “Bubble” Gathers Famous Name in Anime Production

From Tetsuro Araki to Hiroyuki Sawano will participate in this anime film production.

On Tuesday, Netflix just released a teaser for its upcoming anime film Bubble that will come to the service on April 28th next year. We can see familiar names in anime production from Netflix’s teaser, Tetsuro Araki, the anime’s director of Attack on Titan. The script was written by Gen Urobuchi, who worked for Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero novel, and Psycho-Pass. Takeshi Obata also takes part in characters designing, and we all know that he is well-known for his popular manga series Death Note. Wit Studio trusts this job to Hiroyuki Sawano, who works for Attack on Titan’s original soundtrack for the music composer.

Along with the teaser, Netflix also revealed the cast features Jun Shison, Mamoru Miyano, Yuuki Kaji, and Tasuku Hatanaka.

This project collaborates with Netflix and Wit Studio, producing some popular anime series like Attack on Titan. Bubble will hit Japanese theatres on May 18th, 2022.

According to Netflix’s synopsis, Bubble is set in Tokyo when gravity breaks and mysterious bubbles rain down upon the world. A group of young people uses this chaotic situation as a parkour team battle where people leap from one building to another building. The story follows Hibiki, who usually plays dangerous style with a reckless move. One day, he falls into the gravity-bending sea and is saved by a girl with mysterious power, Uta. Then, the two start to hear a unique sound that only they can hear. Is the sound lead them to change the world?
