Uncharted Movie Trailer Out Now

Like most anticipated entertainment nowadays, the Uncharted movie trailer was leaked and made an official post today, October 21, 2021.

 

Everyone knew that Tom Holland would be a young Nathan Drake while Mark Wahlberg would be Sully, a.k.a. Victor Sullivan. However, the trailer revealed Sophia Taylor Ali as Chloe Frazer and Antonio Banderas as the main antagonist. Alongside Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer, the movie is expected to be packed with action and one-liners.

 

“In discussions with the film’s director, Ruben Fleischer, he shared that he ‘made the movie for both hardcore fans of the game and those who are not yet familiar with the franchise and believe that both will be equally entertained by this incredibly fun and action-packed film,” Naughty Dog said in a blog post on their website.

 

Releasing in February 2022, the movie also promotes Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which will come to Playstation 5 and PC with updated versions of Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy.

 

Now, for those unaware, the Uncharted movie has been stuck in development since October 2008, when Avid Arad first announced the movie. After that announcement, plans for the movie have been tossed around just like Nathan Drake during his adventures.

 

Many writers and cast were hired, but the same amount dropped out for various reasons. Now that a trailer is finally out, fans are still a little skeptical about it. Nathan and Sully were cast wrong. Where’s Nathan Fillion? Which game will they adapt, and how will the story progress?
