Sony recently released a bunch of details about Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
First off, Uncharted will offer different graphical options, such as Performance mode for 60 FPS, Performance Plus for 120 FPS, and Fidelity mode for 4K displays. Alongside better graphics, the game will have “near-instant” load times, better controller feedback, and spatial 3D audio support.
Unfortunately, you can’t enjoy that beautiful immersion with friends unless one watches the other play. Multiplayer modes for both games in the collection are out of the remastered versions.
Secondly, those who own Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy will get a discounted upgrade option available on release. They will be able to upgrade to the PS5 remastered version for $10, but disc owners still need to put them into the PS5 to download and play the remaster. Sadly, digital copies do not work for upgrades.
Thirdly, fans can get free tickets for the upcoming Uncharted movie. If they buy or upgrade to Legacy of thieves between now and February 3, 2022, the PlayStation Store will give players one standard ticket. Gamers can then claim them through a voucher code through email on or around February 9.
However, this only applies to residents of the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Although, they will add other countries at a later date.
Finally, there was an update to the PC version. There’s still no release date, but people will be able to buy it through the Epic store or Steam.
Previously, gamers could only dream of playing their favourite console exclusives on PC. However, things seem to be brighter, with Uncharted’s release to PC and the release of God of War before it.
