BLACKPINK

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are members of a South Korean girl group founded by YG Entertainment. The group made their debut in August of 2016 with the single album Square One, which included the singles “Whistle” and “Boombayah,” that went to number one on the Gaon Digital List in South Korea and the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart in the United States.

 

iKON

Bobby, Jinhwan, Ju-ne, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo are members of a South Korean boy band founded by YG Entertainment in 2015. The group was first debuted as “Team B” in the reality survival show WIN: Who is Next, and then in the 2014 reality survival show Mix & Match, which established iKon’s final members lineup but they are originally seven member, B.I, left the group in June 2019.

Their album was a smash hit, selling over 260,000 copies in Asia and 4.8 million copies in the United States. The popular track “Love Scenario” from their second studio album, Return, was released in  2018, and it topped the Gaon Digital Chart for a record-breaking six weeks. I Decide, their third EP, was released on February 6, 2020.

WINNER

Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, and Seungyoon are four members of a South Korean boy band. YG Entertainment established the band in 2013 through Mnet’s survival show WIN: Who Is Next, and they made their formal debut on August 17, 2014.

Their early success was “unusual” for a new group, and they were dubbed “Monster rookies” after that. Winner is frequently referred to as a “self-producing” band, with all members actively involved in all aspects of production, from choreography to design and marketing.

BIGBANG

YG Entertainment formed a South Korean boy band consisting G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung who are the four members of the group but unfortunately had a former member Seungri departed from the entertainment industry on March 11, 2019. They were the first Korean artists to be included on the Forbes Celebrity 100 (2016) and 30 Under 30 list of most influential musicians in the world, and they were ranked as one of the most powerful celebrities in South Korea from 2009 to 2016.

TREASURE

Formerly known as TREASURE 13, is made up of contestants from the YG Treasure Box survival show. Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Bang Yedam, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeongwoo, and So Junghwan are the members of the group. On August 7th, 2020, the group made their debut.

In 2020, they were dubbed “Global Super Rookies” and were hailed as one of the best – selling South Korean artists to make their debut that year.
