Just like Instagram, TikTok also has a question and answer feature or Q&A on its platform. This feature was released last March for creators who like to do live streaming sessions. The feature mysteriously disappeared sometime after its launch. But now, TikTok is bringing back the missing feature.
This is known by social media consultant, Matt Navara. He also shared information on the return of the QnA TikTok feature through his Twitter account. Navara said TikTok’s QnA feature now also has a new setting.
From the image attached by Navara, this new version of the question and answer feature comes with an option that allows users to invite other users to answer questions. Users can also restrict Q&A to followers, friends who follow you back, or no one else.
“TikTok has relaunched the Q&A feature with new features. You can now invite other people to answer your questions,” Navara wrote.
The Q&A column is located under the “Comments” options section. Users simply click on the “chatbox” shaped icon then select the “Ask a Question” option. There you can submit questions that the creator of the content will see later.
The function and use of this feature are similar to the “Question Box” in Instagram Stories. In addition to live-streaming, viewers can also submit questions in the comments column for video uploads.
This feature is designed to help content creators answer questions from fans on the platform. This is one of TikTok’s ways to increase the interaction of content creators with their audience.
TikTok itself is now one of the fastest-growing social media platforms. TikTok is a social media platform that is currently loved by many people. The features offered allow users to create short videos with music, filters, and several other animations.
