The Multiverse Continues In The Sequel of Doctor Strange

Be ready, Doctor Strange will be back next May!

Following the previous multiverse theory of Spider-Man: No Way Home, we will see Doctor Strange fight against the multiverse once again. Finally, Marvel Studios revealed the teaser for its sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness yesterday (12/22). Along with the release date, this movie was planned to hit theaters on May 6th, 2022. 

Since its first solo movie in 2016, six years after the first movie, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) finally comes back; and deal with time-related matters which is the multiverse. From the trailer, seems Stephen will needs some help from The Scarlet Witch Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to fix the matter at hand. Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) from the first movie is also comes back to lessen the number of sorcerers in this world. The fans are surprised with the appearance of the dark side of Doctor Strange that bring threats to the multiverse.

Seems like the second movie will reveal some of the extent threads of multiverse in the MCU. This movie will have a tie-in with several Marvel series like WandaVision and Loki. Before you watch the next Doctor Strange movie, make sure you watch the previous Marvel series and Spider-Man: No Way Home, so you get the thread.

A number of MCU phase 4 movies will be coming in 2022 which are Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder. Other than them, Marvel will also release the solo movie for Spider-Man’s villain Morbius which will hit theaters earlier.
