The Life and Achievements of Kylie Jenner and Her Empire

Some of us yearn for the riches and success of the  Hollywood and influencer lifestyle, for instance, Kylie Jenner. Although she already came from a successful and privileged family, specifically the Kardashian-Jenner clan, her achievements make her even more successful.

 

For Kylie Kristen  Jenner it all started thanks to  Keeping  Up  With  The  Kardashians – a  reality show.  If you haven’t been keeping up,  Kylie Jenner was born in  Los  Angeles,  California on the  10th of  August  1997.  Besides being the youngest in the  Kardashian-Jenner clan, she has a sister – Kendall Jenner along with half-sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian.

 

Her rise to more fame and success could be attributed to her interest in fashion and makeup while her sister  – Kendall Jenner – pursued a modeling career.

 

Thanks to the exposure from the reality show she and her family starred in,  jump-started her career in the celebrity world. She had her start before she started her highly established successful billion dollars worth cosmetic line  – Kylie  Cosmetics.

 

Before  Kylie expanded her own brand,  she earned millions from doing celebrity endorsements herself,  such as  OPI  nail polish called  “Kardashian  Kolor” in  2011, and launching fashion collections for Pacsun and Topshop alongside her sister,  with the fashion line branded as Kendall & Kylie.

 

Other than that, she has done modeling gigs such as being a campaign model for a high-end fashion brand  – Balmain. Similarly, she has become the face of a puma, which is contracted to be around seven figures.

 

However, this all seems irrelevant when she launched her brand Kylie Cosmetics in November 2015 at the young age of 18. According to Forbes, Kylie Cosmetics is worth an estimated $900 million – which makes her the youngest self-made billionaire.

 

This is all due to her notorious beauty product, which headlined like crazy back in 2015, which are the three Kylie Lip  Kits that all sold out in less than a  minute.

 

Post-2015,  she expanded her cosmetics brand to eye shadow palettes,  Kylighters  (highlighter), a  skincare line called Kylie Skin, swimwear called Kylie Swim, and baby – Kylie Baby.

 

Despite gaining recognition and becoming an  A-listed Celeb, her Kylie brand empire is not immune to harsh criticisms as the title  “self-made”  is highly debatable because she was born into a  rich family in the first place.
