The Devil Is a Part-Timer Season 2 Premieres Next Year

The Devil is a Part-Timer has released a trailer for its season 2, which will debut in 2022.

Coming in July 2022, the new trailer revealed a new character, Alas Ramus, who is born from an apple. Pretty weird, but Hina Kino, a voice actress from Sword Art Online, will voice her. Other voice actors include Ryota Osaka from Haikyu, Yoko Hikasa from The Case Study of Vanitas, and Yuki Ono from Beaststars.

Other than the voices, they have made many changes to the show. Naoto Hosoda and studio White Fox will no longer direct the anime. Instead, Daisuke Tsukushi and Studio 3Hz will take care of it. Even Atushi Ikariya, the chief animation director got replaced. Yoshihiro Takeda and Yudai Iino will take his spot.

There has been a ton of changes, but how many people actually care about each and every replacement? The art director, editor, and special effects artist have all changed. The only returning members are the script supervisor, musical composer, and color key artist.

Season 1 of Part-Timer was pretty good. I liked it. I wonder how season 2 will be with so many changes. If the anime interests you, it’s a story where Satan is transported to modern Tokyo and conforms to society. However, shenanigans ensue when the Hero also comes along.
