The Book Of Boba Fett Opens Up With A Slow Burner

The Mandalorian that kicks off the whole fandom

 

Concealed voice exudes through the helmet as you heard on cheap home theater speaker “As you wish..” said the bounty hunter to Darth Vader. The Empire Strikes Back (1980) resonates with the 15-year-old me so effortlessly. Captivating and filled with awe, in a white-noise filled lenses, comes one of my all-time favorite character from the whole Luke’s Star Wars sagas, Boba Fett.

For the most part that resonates with the part of the it is either the Jedi or Sith faction of the lore. But the neutral and the most mysterious; unestablished background filled with enigmatic presence on screen so far, is Boba Fett. Launch the brooding and stoic character to a new pedestal after just a few seconds of appearance.

 

In place with the bombshell of Vader’s lineage, Han Solo capture; and Luke’s team facing a big loss by the end of the movie. Boba Fett manage to be the most fresh thing that came out of Empire Strikes Back. Unfortunately got quickly removed at Jabba the Hutt scene in Return of The Jedi (1983) by Han Solo. Not gonna lie, it pisses me quite a bit. When i didn’t get to see him in action for the rest of the movie. But the fact still remains that this disheartening feeling will be evolved so much more.

 

 

With Anakin Skywalker trilogy saga is being made, with a lot of hopes and lores that comes after Return of the Jedi. Fett saga was actually being build more and more. Now it comes forward with his father’s perspective on the previous powers that be. Resulting in Jango Fett the original Mandalorian that made into the clone troopers; die in Mace Windu’s hands. Due to its tragic childhood, young Boba held his father’s helm so tight and swore to bring this galaxy to his knees.

With the rise of new entry to the masked fandom on 2019’s The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal’s acting has put in the new take on the Mandalorian as a whole. Adding to the fact that at its season 2 hit the streaming service a cameo of Boba Fett, playing a major role in helping Grogu and Din Djarin.

Now that The Book of Boba Fett (2021) is airing; the series itself showing us back-to-back post Return of The Jedi status of Boba Fett. This is weirdly accurate to the ones that Patton Oswald foretell on Parks & Recreation season 5 episode 19. With the follow up of the scene, is that Boba had to survive whilst try to accustomed to the Tuskens people lifestyle.

 

And return immediately to where we’re being left off when Fennec and him establishing the rules, as the new Daimyo of Mos Espa. In that conjunction, they abruptly interrupted by Jabba’s cousins in the second episode; as the roster of character’s is slightly bigger now that we have a cameo of Black Krrsantan. One of the top fighter’s of Jabba’s twin cousins. Who also appear in one of the Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Marvel Imprint comics.

 

 

The Book of Boba Fett has a more slow build-up even compared with The Mandalorian pace. Regardless, the inner 15 year-old me is instantly screams whenever the old Temuera Morrison is on-screen with or without the suit. It just paints a whole new light onto the character, finally got its best treatment from the franchise itself.
