The 64th Grammy Awards will be held very soon, and the first list of performers has already been revealed. The day has finally appeared after being pushed back to April owing to the increased number of COVID-19 cases.
With Trevor Noah returning as host for his second year, it will be the first award show in months to bring together performers of all genres.
While not all performers have been revealed as of yet, fans can expect to see musicians such as Jon Batiste (who leads the pack with 11 nominations) and other prominent nominees such as Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R. to perform.
Billie Eilish is slated to return for the third year in a row as one of the night’s performances. She presently has two straight Record of the Year wins as well as seven nominations. Lil Nas X, who has five nominations, will return for the second year after performing for the very first time in 2020.
Current nominees BTS are up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance “Butter”. Brandi Carlile will be back for the third year and has six nominations. Olivia Rodrigo has received seven nominations including Record of the Year “Drivers License”, Album of the Year “Sour”, Song of the Year “Drivers License”, and Best New Artist. It will be her first appearance and performance. Brothers Osborne, a country duet, will also be performing.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, April 3 this year at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The show will also be broadcast for live and on-demand streaming on Paramount+.
