“Carolina”, Taylor Swift’s brand new song will feature in the forthcoming film ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’, an adaptation film of Delia Owen’s bestselling 2018 novel.
The news was known after the film released a teaser. ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ will be released in July this year. The trailer shows a snippet of the lyrics to the song “Carolina” by Taylor Swift.
In an upload on her Instagram, Taylor Swift announced that the song will be released soon.
“As soon as I heard there was a film in the works starring the incredible Daisy Edgar Jones and produced by the brilliant Reese Witherspoon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it from the musical side.” Swift wrote.
The 32-year-old singer explained that she was not the only writer of the song. Taylor Swift said the song was produced by Aaron Dessner’s Folklore and Evermore collaborator.
“I wanted to create something haunting and ethereal to match this mesmerizing story,” she add.
