Sunmi Fiercely Comebacks With ‘You Can’t Sit With Us’ MV

Retro synth-reigning pop’s queen Sunmi returns with a single that may be her most art deco performance! She is back with a mini album entitled 1/6 with a title track ‘You can’t sit with us’. The album contains 6 songs in total namely ‘Sunny”. ‘Narcissism’, ‘Borderline’, ‘1/6’, ‘Call’, and lastly including the title track.

Sunmi is a performer and composer from South Korea. She made her debut in 2007 as a member of the South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, but quit in 2010 to consider a career in academics. Sunmi returned to independent work in 2013 with her debut extended play Full Moon, which spawned the number two songs “24 Hours” and “Full Moon” on the national Gaon Digital Chart after a three-year layoff.

Sunmi is well-known in the K-pop community and coined the phrase “Sunmi-pop” to describe her own musical style. It incorporates core pop’s influences, such as Pop, Rock, Jazz, Electronic Dance Music, traditional Korean music, as well as Retro and City Pop components, into Sunmi’s unique musical identity.
