Squid Game Costumes for Halloween

One of Netflix’s newest shows, Squid Game, has been on the rise in the ranks since its debut in September, which has led to a boom in costume searches. 

 

 

Squid Game is a Korean drama where several struggling contestants play children’s games for money. However, things soon turn dark and dreadful, and the contestants must win the games to survive.

 

 

Now that it’s October, fans have blown up Google searching for costumes of the contestant jumpsuits, soldier outfits, and even the Front Man. These costumes have even beat out the most popular Halloween costumes like Catwoman, Spider-Man, and the Joker.

 

 

However, because of its popularity, multiple suspicious suppliers have appeared to take advantage. Many providers on Amazon are offering Squid Game costumes, but they only give screenshots from the show. On top of that, most of the providers are overseas, so the product most likely will not arrive before Halloween.

 

 

Also, there have been unofficial websites popping up to sell Squid Game merchandise without Netflix’s say-so. They either sell cheap knockoffs like Amazon, or they give nothing at all.

 

 

Unlike the other scams or cheap merchandise, Walmart announced that it would sell Netflix-affiliated products that included Squid Game on October 11. They sell good merchandise for the show except for the costumes. The costumes are also knockoffs.

 

 

Though, there is some good news. There are reputable providers on Amazon, but customers have to be wary of finding the right ones. It will take time for clothing and costume companies to make their outfits.
