Epic Games and Ferrari announced on Thursday, July 22, that they will collaborate to bring one of Ferrari’s classic sports vehicles to Fortnite. Fortnite has already been known for celebrity and brand collaborations, but with the Ferrari coming to the game, the 296 GTB hybrid sports car, is the first licensed car to appear in the immensely popular battle royale shooter.

The Ferrari 296 GTB has been added to Fortnite as a new drivable vehicle, and you can bet that a brand crossover like that will bring some new challenges to lure gamers into the driver’s seat. Ferraris, as you might expect, have become a coveted item in battle royale games, making it difficult to accomplish missions, let alone get your hands on one.

The Ferrari, according to Epic, will play similarly to other vehicles in Fortnite, but will sound like a real Ferrari. Since their addition over a year ago, cars have become a feature of the game, but they’ve all been generic depictions of various types of vehicles, such as sedans, pickup trucks, and even sports cars.
