Snoop Dogg X BTS Collaboration is On the Way!

Snoop Dogg just revealed his upcoming collaboration with BTS during the American Song Contest red carpet on Monday.

During the interview with The A.V. Club, Snoop Dogg says, “The BTS experience you keep talking about. I’m going to let them tell you about it. It’s official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

This statement just confirmed the rumor that has been circulating for the past two months. Previously on the Mogul Talk podcast, when the host asked about the number of features requested that Snoop Dogg received every week, Snoop told the host that he gets several calls from the various artists in the music industry each week, including a request from BTS to collaborate in a song with them.

Both Snoop Dogg and BTS have been well-known for their hip hop and rap discography and BTS has always been a fan of Snoop Dogg for a long time. In their previous work, BTS has been collaborating with a lot of hip-hop and rap artists. Some of those works are ‘P.D.D’ by RM X Warren G, ‘Change’ by RM X Wale, a remix of ‘Idol’ with Nicki Minaj, and collaboration with Epik High.

BTS’ SUGA also revealed during their interview with BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge that they might have more hip-hop tracks on their upcoming album.

The euphoria from the fans is already in the air. On Twitter, “BTS in the Snoop” has been trending for hours after the news about this collaboration. BTS in the Snoop is a pun from BTS’ reality show, “BTS in the Soop” created by the fans to celebrate this collaboration.

Meanwhile from the BTS side, BIGHIT MUSIC—their agency—has not released any statement yet regarding this collaboration. We will wait until further confirmation about this collaboration and in the meantime, you can explore more and enjoy Snoop Dogg and BTS’ discography.
