SEVENTEEN’s ‘BE THE SUN’ WORLD TOUR Korea Finally Concluded! Here’s What Happened

SEVENTEEN held their ‘BE THE SUN’ WORLD TOUR in Korea at Gocheok Sky Dome on two days, June 25 (7 PM KST) and June 26 (6 PM KST).

 

Both days were held offline and online, for all Carats to watch SEVENTEEN perform again on stage for their world tour after their last world tour, ‘ODE TO YOU’ back in 2019.

 

SEVENTEEN announced their world tour, ‘BE THE SUN’ on May 17th, starting their opening in South Korea, and will continue their tour to North America next.

They Performed Different Old Songs

With a new setlist, they changed up the old songs and performed 2 old gems including ‘BOOMBOOM’ and ‘Mansae’. Although they only performed 2 old songs, we haven’t seen SEVENTEEN perform these two songs in a long time!

 

‘March’ and ‘Shadow’ Performance

SEVENTEEN performed songs from their ‘FACE THE SUN’ album, with new choreographies for ‘March’ and ‘Shadow’, aside from ‘HOT’.

Seungkwan Shed Some Tears

During day 2 of ‘BE THE SUN’, Seungkwan shed some tears as he got overwhelmed and thanked CARATS as well as the SEVENTEEN members.

SEVENTEEN’s family members such as Hoshi’s father came to watch, along with several other idols including BTS’ Jungkook, ENHYPEN’s Jake, Sunghoon, Jay and Niki, and MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and Jooheon.

SEVENTEEN surprised CARATS yet again at the end of day 2’s concert with a surprise announcement of SEVENTEEN’s 4th Album Repackage titled SECTOR 17 to be released on July 18, 2022 (18:00 KST).
