SEVENTEEN Is Confirmed To Comeback In May 2022


South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN is preparing for a comeback by releasing a full album in May. The news was confirmed by the group’s agency PLEDIS Entertainment, “SEVENTEEN is preparing to make a comeback with a full album in May,” said an agency representative as quoted by STARNEWS via Naver, Thursday (March 17).


This album will be their fourth studio album since debuting in May 2015. The 13-member idol group last released a studio album in September 2019, An Ode. Two other full-length albums Teen, Age, which was released in November 2017, and Love & Letter, which was released in April 2016, became their first full-length album.


SEVENTEEN have had an impressive track record of releasing albums throughout their career. According to Gaon Chart, the number of SEVENTEEN albums sold up to November last year has exceeded 10 million copies. This number is predicted to continue to grow, especially if their latest album can outperform the previous success. This album also marks SEVENTEEN’s comeback after the last release of Extended Plays (EP) seven months ago.


Starting from 17 Carat which was released in May 2015 until the latest one Attacca, released in October 2021. They have also produced two Japanese EPs, We Make You (2018) and 24 H (2020).


In addition, this Korean boy band is also rumored to be holding a fan meeting on March 25-27. The event titled 2022 SVT 6TH FAN MEETING SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND will be held at the Jamsil sports complex. This fan meeting will take place both offline and online. This is the sixth fan meeting that SEVENTEEN has held with CARAT, the official name for their fans.


SEVENTEEN is a 13-member K-pop boy group: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THe8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. This idol group debuted under Pledis Entertainment through the single Adore U. This song was written by SEVENTEEN members Vernon, S.Coups, Woozi, and SEVENTEEN’s music producer Bumzu.
