Sandara Park, widely known as “Pambansang Krung-krung,” has shocked Filipino admirers by returning to the country.
Park, who rose to prominence in the Philippines as a “Star Circle Quest” star, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport yesterday, July 27, as shown on its Instagram page. As of this writing, the singer has yet to reveal the reason for her visit.
“Sandara Park, a South Korean pop singer, lands in Manila.” According to the airport administration, “a member of the well-known k-pop group 2NE1 and a competitor on ‘Star Circle Quest’ Batch 1,”
Fans also received a peek of the K-pop diva today, July 28, with some posting videos of her arriving at the airport accompanied by security officers on their Twitter profiles.
Park, who last visited the Philippines almost two years ago, expressed a desire to return to the nation and performed for her Filipino fans in December 2021.
Park is also remaining loyal to her Filipino origins, as seen by her use of the Filipino language while ordering meals and recommending local delicacies to GOT7’s BamBam, who was just in Cebu.
