Just a week after GTA: The Trilogy was released, many players complained about issues that they encounter in the trilogy. From shoddy graphics to wacky bugs, there didn’t seem to be a shortage of reasons for fans of the series to complain. If you go on to YouTube, it’s probably easier to find YouTubers making fun of the glitches, than people actually enjoying the game. Currently, the game has an abysmal score of 0.5/10 on Metacritic, and many fans are even taking to social media to ask for refunds.
As a response to these issues, Rockstar Games issued a statement in its blog post, apologizing for the game’s issues.
To compensate those who have already bought the game, Rockstar Games will bring back the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas through Rockstar Games Launcher as a bundle. Those who have bought GTA: The Trilogy by June 2022 will get the original release of the classic GTAs mentioned above for free.
Rockstar Games has stated that they have ongoing plans to improve the games. So, players don’t need to worry that these issues will be left unfixed, Rockstar Games will fix these issues in the next update that will be out soon.
