PUBG: New State Coming in November

If you’re a fan of mobile Battle Royale games then you’re in luck! There’s a new game in town and it’s called PUBG: New State. That’s right, if the name sounds familiar to you, you’ve probably heard of PUBG MOBILE.

However, this time, it’s not developed by the Chinese tech giant Tencent. This iteration of PUBG will be developed by KRAFTON, Inc’s PUBG Studios, the makers of the original PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC. PUBG: New State will be a free-to-play mobile battle royale similar to the previous game, and will launched in 17 different languages. 

What’s the difference?

The game will be set in 2051, and will improve on the current gaming experience available in PUBG MOBILE. According to KRAFTON, the game will bring you one of the “most realistic and technologically advanced mobile games to date”.

Executive Producer, Minkyu Park stated that PUBG: New State will use state-of-the-art rendering technology and emphasizes that the gunplay will be akin to that of its PC counterpart. The graphic quality will also aim to push the limits of what mobile devices can achieve.

The game will have four unique maps, including Troi, set in the future, and a map we’re all familiar with, Erangel. The game will also incorporate a weapon customization system, a drone store and a unique player recruitment system.

KRAFTON also emphasized that creating a safe and fair gameplay environment is of high priority. They will ban users who use unauthorized programs, emulators, and unauthorized use of keyboard and mouse. KRAFTON will also actively review player sentiment and feedback, aside from technical responses.

Currently, PUBG: New State has surpassed the 50-million mark for pre-registrations on both iOS and Android. You can download the game on November 11th, and pre-registered players will get a free permanent Limited Vehicle Skin.
