Prepare for a crazy holiday experience in ‘Vacation Friends,’ a 20th Century Fox & Hulu production.

‘Vacation Friends’ has been written by Tom Mullen and Clay Tarver, and by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and is directed by Clay Tarver.

Todd Garner will produce the film under his Broken Road Productions banner, which also produced the recently released family comedy Playing with Fire, starring John Cena.

Vacation Friends was one of the productions originally stopped at the start of last March’s epidemic. It was first bought by 20th Century Fox in 2014 and was linked to the project by Chris Pratt, Anna Faris, and Ice Cube.

Hulu has recently released the first teaser of their upcoming Hulu Original film “Vacation Friends,” starring in Mexico’s first crazy holiday, John Cena, Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, and Meredith Hagner.

Straight-laced Marcus and Emily (Howery, Orji) are friends by wild, thrill-seeking partygoers Ron and Kyla (Cena, Hagner) at a Mexican resort in this raw and profane comedy. The normally level-headed couple breaks loose for a week of unbridled pleasure and debauchery with their new “vacation friends,” living in the moment. Marcus and Emily are shocked months later when Ron and Kyla show up unannounced at their wedding, causing mayhem and showing that what occurs on vacation does not always remain on vacation.

As the teaser indicates, Marcus and Emily are destined to get crazy. Vacation Friends is a wild comedy with everything from cocaine to magic mushrooms and maybe even a little swinging.

Vacation Friends will be available globally on August 27, with a Latin American premiere on Star+ on August 31.
