Oppo A55 Packed with 50 MP Main Camera and MediaTek Helio G35 Chipset

In terms of screen, the Oppo A55 carries a 5.1-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. The display supports a 60 Hz refresh rate, 120 Hz touch sampling rate, 550 nits brightness, and NEG T2X-1 glass protection.

In the upper left corner of the screen, there is a punch hole or a small hole as the housing of the 16 MP selfie camera. While on the back, the Oppo A55 is equipped with three rear cameras embedded in a rectangular module that is slimmer than its predecessor.

The three rear cameras consist of a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. For the kitchen, the Oppo A55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 System-on-Chip (SoC), which is paired with a choice of 4/6 GB RAM and 64/128 GB media storage.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The Oppo A55 is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. This mid-range phone runs the Android 11 operating system and overlaid the ColorOS 11.1 interface. The internal battery is also claimed to be able to provide up to 30 hours of talk time or 25 hours of music streaming on a single charge.

This phone has a thickness of 8.4 mm and weighs about 193 grams. If it’s not enough, the storage capacity can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD.
