We have… finally arrived at the 1000th!
For more than a 25+ years now Luffy and group of his rag tags pirates, or as the show likes to called nakama, gets an exclusive update and teaser trailer for its 1000th episode.
Although the series itself already morphed and expanded beyond the base vision of what Eichiro Oda had for the original works, he still got a few surprises for us here and there. Many franchises and mediums of works spawned from a single series, including movies, action figures, games, and even restaurants, as proof.
Eichiro Oda’s resume in developing the series so wide and weighty with rich background narrative use in world-building. Call it niche and cliche at this point, but Oda, or Goda as the stans prefer to call him, manages to keep the finale a secret.
Throughout 2016-2019, numerous interviews he gives or his editor at Weekly JUMP Imprint of Shueisa believe that One Piece is already nearing the end of the series. With the powerhouse being addressed in the manga for nearly two years already, and following up casually in the anime, fans couldn’t resist their enthusiasm for the popular series’ epilogue.
Strong World U.S. release and ‘WE ARE ONE’

To commemorate the momentous anniversary, TOEI has decided to release Strong World movie in the United States in November of this year. And the excitement doesn’t stop there; in collaboration with Radwimps, One Piece, and Weekly JUMP, a compilation of short movies interspersed with newly made animation scenes of One Piece is released.
The Onigashima arc already has much too much information ahead of what we should expect from the arc alone, and to top it all off, by adding this extra content to celebrate, this is what One Piece is all about, full of hype and celebration.
