Speculation about who the new Aston Villa manager will be is officially answered. The VIllans are officially interested in coaching Rangers, Steven Gerrard as the new manager.

This season, Aston Villa is ranked 16th in the EPL standings with only 10 points from 11 games. It was a bad start for The Villans

Not satisfied with this situation, Aston Villa management officially sacked Dean Smith from their coach seat last week. So Aston Villa is now hunting for a new manager.

Today, Thursday (11/11), The Villans officially announced their new manager. They have officially hired Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as their new manager.

Through their official website, Aston Villa officially announced that Steven Gerrard will be their new tactician.

“Aston Villa Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Steven Gerrard as our new head coach,”

“Gerard has guided Glasgow Rangers to win the Scottish League last season and ended the season unbeaten in the League. He also applied an attacking and attractive game during his time in charge of Rangers,”

Gerard himself admitted that he was happy to be able to handle Aston Villa. He is ready to give his best to make The Villans victorious again.

“Aston Villa is a club with a rich history and tradition in English football. I am really proud to be the coach of this club.”

“From talks with Nassef, Wes and members of the board of directors of this club I feel this club has big ambitions. I can’t wait to help them achieve the targets they want,” he said.

Steven Gerrard will make his debut as Aston Villa manager at Villa Park on 20 November.

He will guide The VIllans to get three points from Brighton & Hove Albion.
