Coming this November 18th to HBO Max, Mindy Kaling’s latest creation titled The Sex Lives of College Girls tells the story of four 18-year-old incoming freshmen to Essex College in Vermont. The lives of these four roommates involve their sex lives as well as the struggles, hardships, and victories they encounter and work through in their first year of college.
Mindy Kaling has had wide experience and commendation before this new series during her work doing a variety of creating, writing, directing, and producing toward other series The Office, The Mindy Project, and Never Have I Ever. This new series looks potentially just as foundational and interesting in discussing the lives and perspectives of these four main characters at such a specific and pivotal time in their distinct lives.
This American teen comedy-drama will star Pauline Chalamet as Kimberly, Amrit Kaur as Bela, Reneé Rapp as Leighton, and Alyah Chanelle Scott as Whitney as the four main college students. What will be the expectations, tensions, and revelations to come during this time together experiencing newfound freedom and new adulthood? Their discoveries throughout the episodes are so far reported to be much more than they were expecting upon acceptance and arrival.
Co-creating the series is Justin Noble who has also written for the series Brooklyn 99 and Never Have I Ever before The Sex Lives of College Girls. Various chunks of The Sex Lives of College Girls are set to be released between November 18th and December 9th with this first season containing 10 episodes.
