New Marvel Characters Revealed in The Eternals Trailer

The final trailer for The Eternals dropped today on Youtube, showing the new characters that are to be initiated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Eternals features a gang of hidden immortals that are stashed away in secret on Earth only to be pulled out by a sudden flash of doom. 

The trailer does not reveal much other than the plot of a celestial being who was the one to send the Eternals to Earth. After 3,000 years of staying hidden, only revealing themselves to defend the planet from certain extraterrestrial threats, the Eternals push themselves out of hiding to save the world from ending. 

There are a lot of questions that the idea of the Eternals brings up. Such as why now? Why come out to save the world when the world has already evolved to the era of having their own superheroes like the Avengers. Or other extraterrestrial knights like the Guardians of the Galaxy?

The concept of the Eternals is one that is sure to expand the MCU into a whole new arena. And with it another dimension of questions and stories just waiting to be explored. 

Fans have been waiting for something to bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe into its new era. Something that is sure to spark new conversations about the future of the cinema and superhero movies.
