New ‘Dune’ Poster Shows Its Star-Studded Cast

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have released a new poster for Dune. The cast of House Atreides and the Freman loom over Paul as he travels the desert in the poster. Paul Atreides is played by Timothée Chalamet, Lady Jessica is played by Rebecca Ferguson, Duke Leto Atreides is played by Oscar Isaac, Gurney Halleck is played by Josh Brolin, Chani is played by Zendaya, Dr. Liet-Kynes is played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Duncan Idaho is played by Jason Momoa, and Stilgar is played by Javier Bardem. The poster reveal follows a theater-exclusive sneak peek of the film, which was followed by the release of a new trailer. It means that the film will be released in theaters and on HBO Max in October.

An operatic interstellar conflict over control of Arrakis, a planet widely known as Dune and containing a huge roster of characters. Dune is the universe’s only source of the spice melange, a prized material that grants extraordinary mental abilities and allows the Spacing Guild Navigators to traverse great distances throughout the galaxy. When House Atreides takes control of the planet Dune, a trap is prepared for Paul’s family, and he will have to fight both known and unfamiliar foes.

Dune also stars Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, David Dastmalchian, and Charlotte Rampling, with a screenplay by Villeneuve, Jon Spaihts, and Eric Roth. The film is produced by Villeneuve, and executive produced by Spaihts, Herbert W. Gains, Joshua Grode, John Harrison, Brian, and Kim Herbert, Tanya Lapointe, Byron Merritt, and Thomas Tull.
