Netflix published the brand-new teaser trailer earlier this past week to indicate that season four was coming back, tightening their Gis and straps while preparing for fighting with Sam LaRusso and Miguel.
And prepare for war they must, since it was just announced that Karate Kid villain Terry Silver would make a return, with Thomas Ian Griffith resuming his role.

Cobra Kai has been among the top titles in the Netflix Original list since its humble beginnings on YouTube Premium. Following decades after the events of The Karate Kid films, the series takes up with Johnny and Daniel, who both return to old feuds and open competing dojos, reigniting old rivalries.
The 4th Season has been renewed long ago, but Netflix has bought the series long before we look ahead. It’s worth looking back through the chronology.
Cobra Kai was released in Seasons 1 and 2 on YouTube Premium and in Season 3 on YouTube Premium. But it was not going to release the third season as part of a strategic shift for the platform; thus the series was scheduled in early 2020.
Then in the summer, Netflix won the first and second seasons of the seasons. Season 3, previously completed long before the first and second films, would be released at a later date on the first of January 2021. It was about the time of the 1st and 2nd seasons when Netflix recognized that investments would be worthwhile and the program was successful enough to continue.
Cobra Kai has revealed that it will return to a streaming provider near you in December – when the “soul of the Valley” will be on the line – as anticipation for season four of the TV series grows. So mark your calendars.
Cobra Kai is available to stream on Netflix.
