Mohamed wrongly contributed one goal when Liverpool beat AC Milan. The goal was able to deliver Salah two records for the Reds.

Mo Salah became a key Liverpool player who was revealed by Jurgen Klopp during a visit to the San Siro, Wednesday (12/8/2021) early morning WIB. Because this match did not determine anything else for them, Liverpool did a rotation.

Salah joined the pair consisting of Divock Origi and Sadio Mane in the front position. Liverpool, who appeared dominant, was left behind by Fikayo Tomori’s goal in the 29th minute.

Then, it was Salah who equalized the score in the 37th minute maximizing the rebound from Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain’s kick. Divock Origi’s decisive goal ensured Liverpool’s 2-1 victory in the 52nd minute.

Liverpool ensured a ticket to the last 16 of the Champions League with a perfect record, namely six wins and became the first English team to do so.

Salah also smiled widely because that one goal kept him in competition with Robert Lewandowski (9 goals) and Sebastian Haller (10 goals) for the top scorer title.

Mohamed Salah was also able to record two new records after breaking into Mike Maignan’s goal. Quoted by Opta, Salah has collected 20 goals in all competitions, becoming the sharpest in Europe with Robert Lewandowski.

The Egyptian player scored 13 goals in the Premier League and 7 goals in the Champions League. With the season not yet in its infancy, Salah has almost equalled the 23 goals he scored last season.

Since strengthening Liverpool four years ago, one of the best moments Salah was able to score 44 goals in one season. After scoring 31 goals last season, how many goals has Mohamed Salah been able to score this season?
