miHoYo Releases Halloween-Themed Events for Tears of Themis

Can you uncover the truth behind the Big Data Lab attack on All Hallows’ eve?

China-based game developer miHoYo recently announced that it would be releasing two seasonal events in October 2021 for its romance detective game, Tears of Themis.

The first event, Symphony of the Night, tasks players required to track missing people after the Big Data Lab came under attack. To do so, players will have to conduct a series of special investigations as soon as they can while working closely with the game’s four male protagonists. Players will first have to activate a mysterious box called the “Vesper Box” and accept a contract sent by a hacker to start the event.

Finishing limited-time tasks will allow players to earn “New Clues”, which are used to unlock investigation areas and cases during the event.

Completing the Symphony of the Night event will net players 800 S-Chips, Selection Star II and “Witch’s Gift”, an event-limited badge.

Two SSR cards and two SR cards will also have their rates increased during the event through the Symphony of the Night Event Shadow of Themis gacha. These cards are Vyn SSR Between Good and Evil, Marius SSR Fabulous Feast, Luke SR How I Remember You, and Artem SR Fixated on You.

In the second event, Howling Pumpkin, players will have to harvest pumpkins of different shapes and sizes in the pumpkin field to unlock pumpkin archives and encounter various mysterious occurrences in the field.

Participating in the Howling Pumpkin event will give players the event-limited “Jack-o’-Lantern badge” badge, 400 S-chips, Oracle of Justice and other rewards.

The Symphony of the Night event will run from 20th October 2021 at 11:00 (UTC+9) to 3rd November 2021 at 4:00 (UTC+9). Meanwhile, Howling Pumpkin will start on 28th October 2021 at 11:00 (UTC+9) and will end on 11th November 2021 at 4:00 (UTC+9).
