MCU Daredevil Reboot In Development

Since Marvel Studios got the rights back to multiple characters from Sony and Marvel Entertainment, there’s a talk of Daredevil reboot in the works. In fact, X-Men movie writer, David Hayter, is the one who talked about it. However, there’s no talk about any specific actor coming back.

Daredevil is known as the “Man without Fear”. Ben Affleck played him in 2003 in a solo film. Charlie Cox played the most recent and popular Daredevil in 2015 on Netflix. In 2018, the show got cancelled, and fans seem to want Cox to return as the character. There has even a talk of him appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but there’s nothing official on the topic.

David Hayter brought up the topic at MCM London Comic Con, but he sounded so certain that it’s unknown if it’s actually happening.

“You know, they’re doing a reboot of Daredevil and Daredevil was always a very important character to me, and I loved the first way they did it. But there’s certain things that I want to adapt from the Frank Miller run on Daredevil that really meant a lot to me.”

With Daredevil supposedly in the works, that opens up the door for more “Heroes For Hire”. It’s also a bonus that fans received Daredevil and The Punisher well when they premiered on Netflix.
