Lenovo Gaming Tablet “Legion Y700” Specs Prediction

After the leaks circulated on the internet, Lenovo finally officially announced information about its newest gaming tablet device, the Legion Y700. Lenovo made the announcement via the Weibo social network.

Through the social networking site from China, Lenovo includes an image of the Legion Y700 along with a number of key specifications, especially on the screen.

Referring to the poster listed, the Legion Y700 screen looks to have a bezel whose size looks different between the top and side of the screen.

The screen itself measures 8.8 inches (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This screen also supports a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and adopts the DCI-P3 color standard. The type of screen that this tablet carries is not yet known, and details of the screen-to-body ratio.

Lenovo appears to have included a rear camera and an LED flash on the back. The material covering this gaming tablet’s back has not yet been mentioned.

Lenovo also hasn’t mentioned the color variant that the Legion Y700 tablet will carry. However, from the poster, it is possible that one of the colors available is silver.

Apart from the information above, there is no more information about the specifications of the Legion Y700 listed on the poster.

Including hardware, such as what type of chipset will be used and how much RAM and internal memory capacity the Legion Y700 has.

A number of rumors predict that this tablet will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm chip, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, to support intense gaming activities.

Another rumor says that this gaming tablet will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal memory.

It is not known when Lenovo will launch this tablet and what the price range is. Chances are, Lenovo will just sell the Legion Y700 tablet in the Chinese market. There is no information on whether this tablet will be sold to other countries or not.
