American reality TV personality, socialite, model, and businesswoman Kim Kardashian posted about a cryptocurrency project called Ethereum Max.
The Ethereum Max Project (EMAX) is an ERC20 project built on the Ethereum blockchain and launched about 30 days ago. There are many questions, reports and forum posts with people skeptical of the project asking if emax is ‘legit or a scam’.
The Kardashians Instagram post, which makes it clear that this is an “AD”, read:“Are you guys into crypto? This is not financial advice but sharing what my friends just told me about the Ethereum Max token! A few minutes ago Ethereum Max burned 400 trillion tokens—literally 50% of their admin wallet, giving back to the entire e-max community. Swipe up to join the e-max community.”
As expected, as soon as Kardashian mentioned the emax on her post, the crypto community jumped on the post. Almost as if they hadn’t noticed the swarm of celebrities who were paid to promote certain cryptocurrency projects in 2021.
Newsweek also paid special attention to the Kardashians shilling on Instagram when columnist Aatif Sulleyman wrote about how Safemoon fans tried to woo Kardashian. Famous socialite Kardashian also shared an ad on her Instagranm timeline last month, which also included the emax website domain.
