Kep1er’s Debut Date Pushed Back

The most awaited debut of Kep1er got pushed back to January 2022. The group formed through Mnet‘s Girls Planet 999 had to reschedule their debut after one of their staff was tested positive for COVID-19. The news came out on December 5th.

Together with the news, WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment also informed that all Kep1er members and the other staff had tested, and the results came out negative. Despite the result, the management seemed to take precautions and pushed the group’s debut date to January 2022. On December 8th, they announced Kep1er’s new debut date, January 3rd, 2022. 

Kep1er then cancelled their debut showcase on December 14th and their first appearance at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards on December 11th. 

Kep1er was supposed to debut on December 14th with its debut mini-album, First Impact. The group had released the members’ concept photos through Kep1er’s official Twitter. There are three concept photos, Connect 0Connect –, and Connect 1. Together with the concept photos, they revealed their debut date, album name, and the title of the group’s debut song. 

Kep1er’s debut mini-album First Impact will have six tracks, including three songs previously performed in Girls Planet 999. The title track of the album is WA DA DA. It was revealed with the third concept photo, Connect 1, on December 2nd. The other five songs in the album are O.O.O (Kep1er Ver.)Another Dream (Kep1er Ver.)Shine (Kep1er Ver.)MVSK, and See The Light.

Hopes all the members and staff are healthy until Kep1er’s debut on January 3rd, 2022.
