KDrama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon”: Sequel Confirmed

 

The sequel to the hit drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” is coming!

 

Soon, a new comedy-drama will be released! Following the success of “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” it was announced that a sequel, “Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon,” will be released next month. Various media outlets reported on May 27 that Lee Yoo Mi, who starred in the  “Squid Game” and “All of Us Are Dead,” will play the female protagonist in the sequel. Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, Kim Hae Sook, and Kim Jung Eun are among the other stars starring in “Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon.”

The plot revolves around the reality of new drug crimes in Gangnam, where a good lady named Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun) is obsessed with finding her missing daughter Kang Nam Soon (Lee Yoo Mi). Lee Yoo Mi will play Do Bong Soon’s distant cousin Kang Nam Soon, who possesses tremendous strength.  Meanwhile, Detective Kang Hee Sik (Ong Seong Woo) will look into the narcotics Kang Nam Soon is fascinated by in Gangnam. Byun Woo Seok will take on the role of Ryu Si Oh, a handsome villain in the show.

 

Filming will begin this summer, with the show premiering in the first half of 2023. With its humorous, romantic tale and superb acting performances, the Korean drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” has made a big impression on viewers. The characters’ struggles, romances, and friendships all brought another element of enjoyment for viewers, and fans worldwide cannot wait for the sequel.
