Julia Garner from “Ozark” Will Play Madonna in “Biopic”.

Once again the actress going to showcase her acting skills in her upcoming biopic movie.

 

The American actress Julia Garner is well known for her outstanding roles in dramas. Like Ozark and Inventing Anna, Bravo, Dirty John, and many more on Netflix. She has starred in movies such as Electrick Children, We Are What We Are, Grandma, and The Assistant. Also appeared in Martha Marcy May Marlene, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

 

Garner has been asked for the role in an upcoming biopic on the pop icon Madonna. Madonna herself held a “boot camp” for actresses which included Garner, Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, and Odessa Young, among others. It consisted of 11-hour choreography sessions and singing auditions with Madonna herself.

 

The biopic will follow the early days of Madonna’s eventful life. Universal Filmed Entertainment Group chairman Donna Langley. He won the script in a multi-studio bidding war, and Amy Pascal as a producer, who also produced Spider‑Man: No Way Home, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and many more.

 

Through the film, Madonna hopes to “convey the incredible journey that life” has taken her on as an artist, musician, dancer, and human being.

 

“The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell them than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision,” the pop star said during the announcement of the film.

 

Madonna has played filmmaker before; she directed the Royal about Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII’s romance, and Filth and Wisdom about three struggling bohemian flatmates in London.

 

Madonna has yet to reveal when her movie will hit theaters. The project is quite to the pop star and so the casting process and production also take some extra time. Hopefully, fans will get to see the biopic in 2023-2024.
