Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Movie Released Its Second Trailer

On July 29 (Thursday), the Jujutsu Kaisen Official Twitter account revealed the second trailer for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Movie – Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The video spans for about 30 seconds and it’s the first public release of Yuta Otobone’s voice, voiced by the Japanese voice actor Megumi Ogata, who is known for voicing Shinji Ikari, the main character of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Kurama of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Yuta Otobone will be the main character in the movie. Rika Orimoto, a late childhood friend, haunted him as a special grade cursed human. Yuta was mentored by Satoru Gojo, who enrolled him at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He is currently a second-year student at Jujutsu High. He was training in Africa with Miguel until he returned to Tokyo following the Shibuya Incident. Otsubone, who had been spending days hurting the people around him by the cursed Rika, said, “I want confidence that I can live–” I decided to break Rika’s curse at Jujutsu High.

TOHO animation will distribute the film, which will be produced by MAPPA. The film will premiere on December 24, 2021 in Japan.
