Quoted from Anime News Network, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie will get a novel adaptation that will be released together with the film in Japan on December 24th. Shueisha’s Jump J-books has confirmed this news through their official website.

The story is centred on Yuuta Okkotsu, a high-schooler who lives together with his childhood friend, Rika, who has turned to Curse. Since Rika is not an ordinary Curse, Satoru Gojo as a teacher of Jujutsu High has sensed this situation. Yuuta brought a Curse within him that would attract another Curse, so Gojo convinced him to enrol in the Jujutsu High and learn how to fight the Curse.

The original manga series of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen was released in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. Viz Media also published the series in English together with Japan as part of the JumpStart initiative. You can also read Jujutsu Kaisen digitally on the MANGA Plus website.
