ITZY is making a comeback through the release of their first full-length studio album on September 24, 2021. The five-member girl group and their label, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the news on their official social media sites, along with a comeback poster revealing the album’s title track on August 13, 2021 at 12 a.m. KST.
Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are the members of JYP Entertainment’s South Korean female group. The group made their debut with the launch of their single album, ‘It’z Different,’ on February 12, 2019. The group has received multiple prizes for their popularity, including Rookie of the Year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards and Best New Female Artist at the 2019 Melon Music Awards.
Galactika, the same production company that worked on ITZY’s previous releases, “Wannabe” and “Dalla Dalla,” created, produced, and arranged their title single “LOCO,” according to the teaser poster.
ITZY’s successful return after the promotion of their last EP “Guess Who” is marked by their first full album, “CRAZY IN LOVE,” which features the lead track “LOCO.” This 5-member girl group peaked at number 148 on the Billboard 200 list during this time, marking their first appearance on the chart.
The girl group is indeed a staple on Billboard’s World Albums and World Digital Songs Sales charts, where three of their mini-albums and six of their singles have charted in the top ten.
“CRAZY IN LOVE,” their upcoming album, will be released in six different editions. Each package will also include a photo book, a sticker pack, lyric paper, and a Polaroid photograph in addition to the CD.
